Kruger & Mapungubwe – An Iconic South African Safari

Discover our cultural and natural heritage

Kruger National Park and Mapungubwe National Park are two of the most iconic and popular safari destinations in South Africa. Located in the northern part of the country, both parks offer visitors a unique opportunity to experience the country’s diverse wildlife and natural beauty.

Kruger National Park is one of the largest game reserves in Africa, covering an area of over 19,000 square kilometers. The park is home to the “Big Five” – lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffalos – as well as a wide variety of other animals, including giraffes, zebras, hyenas, and hippos.

Mapungubwe National Park is located in the Limpopo Province of South Africa and is home to the Mapungubwe Cultural Landscape, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park is named after the ancient Kingdom of Mapungubwe, which was a major center of trade and culture in southern Africa from the 11th to the 13th centuries.
