We live and breathe the outdoors, and have done so for 50 years. We are excited to have you join one of our trips, where you will have the experience of a lifetime and become part of the family.
With a special focus on the environment, our tours are packed with knowledge gained from years of experience in the field. They include scheduled small-group tours, extended inter-Africa journeys and tailor-made itineraries.
We believe in supporting local guides. In each country we visit, where we can, we partner with guides who know their birds and landscapes better than anyone, and we hire them so that the benefit of your trip stays in the communities you visit.

Japie Claassen
GuideJapie Claassen is a well-known name in birding circles, and has earned fame for his knowledge of LBJ’s. Japie has a FGASA Level 1 and is DEAT registered, and has seen 800+ bird species of Southern Africa.
Ralie Claassen
GuideRalie is from Prince Albert, originally, and is an experienced birder with more than 800 species on her Southern African life list. She also has a keen interest in the Southern African flora and invertebrates. Registered Nature Guide, and known for her delicious cooking.
Gita Claassen
GuideWith the love of nature and travel running through her veins, Gita is an avifaunal specialist who spent 13 years involved in environmental research, DEAT registered nature guide, and a professional photographer.
